Before I lose half the audience at the start, let me say this is much more than a cookbook for menopausal women, although to be sure, it will do them the most good. My point, however, is that these are really wonderful, healthy, tasty recipes that nearly everyone will enjoy, even men! It's medical purpose aside, this is one of the best cookbooks I have seen in recent times. If you have any doubt, just flip through its pages and take a look at the mouth-watering photographs.

Four out of every ten women in the United States use synthetic hormones ,known as HRT (hormone replacement therapy), to combat symptoms associated with menopause. Despite the fact that doctors have touted these drugs as safe for the past forty years, recent studies indicate that taking HRT for 11 years increases your chance of developing breast cancer by 35%.
