Famous Dave Anderson (of Famous Dave's Blues 'N Ribs fame) has produced a book that is as high quality as the outstanding food that is served at his restaurants. It is not exaggerating in the least to say that Famous Dave has an EXTREME passion for food, more specifically down home American cooking and barbecue. This passion is evident in every page of the book. Dave is quick to point out that if you are looking for fast, quick and easy recipes, look elsewhere. Food this good takes time and patience, but it's definitely worth the effort. Dave personally took to the road, logging thousands of miles in road trips and eating in countless backroad barbecue shacks and roadside cafes (it's tough work, but someone's got to do it).
