Kiwi Fruit

Also known as Chinese Gooseberry

A fruit, originated in New Zealand but now grown in the Unites States (mainly California) as well. Kiwis resemble brown, fuzzy eggs and are a good source of Vitamin C. Inside they sport a bright green flesh that's flecked with tiny black, edible seeds. Store ripe kiwis in the refrigerator. To serve, slice in half and scoop out the flesh or peel and slice. Because of kiwis gorgeous appearance, this fruit makes a wonderful garnish.
