Most often when fresh coriander is called for, the recipe will ask for cilantro. Dried coriander can be found in the spice section of the supermarket. It is the dried, often ground, leaves of the cilantro plant.
Coriander Seeds have a completely different flavor than the leaves and are widely used, either whole or ground, in many middle eastern and North African cuisines.
