Thaw out frozen seafood - fish, shrimp, crab, shellfish etc. in salted water. Place fish in cool water to cover then add 1/4 cup cooking salt to the water. Fish will thaw out without losing any juices, this way you end up with fish and not fish flavoured cardboard. It is also safer than attempting to thaw fish fillets out on the sinkboard.
