When I go out in my RV I usually go for a long period of time. I cook up meals at home and put them in Healthy Choice empty containers and seal them with my seal-a-meal and then when I am out in the RV I can just pop them in the microwave and I have a nice meal -- meat, vegatables and potatoes etc.

When defrosting meat, use an ice cream container, the plastic ones the ice cream comes in from the store, there will be no leakage onto the fridge shelves. Also can use with any food being defrosted, but is great for meats as it contains the blood.

When I buy a new box of baking soda, I put the old one in the fridge (for odor control) and take the one from the fridge and put it in our emptied RV toilet tank with a gallon of water and then when we're going down the road the soda and water mixture sloshes around helping to clean and deodorize the tank.
