Recipe for Super Foods Rx Great Northern Bean Dip from the Super Foods Rx Diet by Drs. Wendy Bazilian and Steven Pratt.
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 1/2 ounces) Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Serving Size: 1/4 cup
- Volume: 2 cups
- Prep Time: 5 Minutes
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Place the beans on a bowl of a food processor. Add the remaining ingredients and pulse until smooth. Scrape the bowl as necessary to incorporate ingredients. Serve this immediately, or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
