Recipe for Simple Syrup. This liquid sweetening syrup used in most bars is handy to sweeten cold drinks like iced tea, coffee or homemade lemonade.
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 cup sugar
Directions
- Makes About 2 Cups
- Mix water and sugar and in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat just until sugar dissolves and mixture becomes clear. Store covered in the refrigerator.
