Green Beans

Making vegetables interesting is always a challenge to
me. Green beans get lots of help in this recipe that makes
a wonderful side dish for meats, chicken or even fish.

Serves 6
Wash beans, trim ends, remove strings and cut into 2" pieces. Cook in a
small amount of water or steam until crisp-tender, about 8-10 minutes. Drain
and set aside. Sauté
onion and pepper in oil until tender, then add remaining ingredients, including
beans. Mix well and cook just until heated. |
