Note
from Cheri:
Great side dishes can mean the difference between a good meal and
a great meal. Many people put lots of effort into their main courses,
then merely open a can of vegetables, or heat up something frozen
for a side dish. Why? They don't know that fabulous side dishes
need not be difficult, or time consuming. And they add so much to
a meal, both nutritionally and in the way of interest.
I've been known to occasionally get so carried away with side dishes
that I skip the main course!
