Serrano chili margarita recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup (Jade bar recipe follows)
  • 1/4 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce celery juice
  • 1 thin slice serrano chile

Directions

  1. 1. Combine ingredients
  2. 2. Add ice
  3. 3. Shake well, about 6 seconds
  4. 4. Strain into salted martini glass
  5. Jade Bar simple syrup recipe:
  6. 1 cup sugar
  7. 1 cup water (steaming hot from tap)
  8. Combine hot water and sugar, stir and let dissolve, about 5 minutes. DO NOT COOK.
