Bell Peppers add a colrful appearance and a great flavor
to this cole slaw. Since the recipe uses no mayonaise,
it's perfect to pack in a lunchbox or on a picnic.
3 C finely
shredded cabbage
1/4 C green bell
pepper, finely chopped
1/4 C red bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 C orange bell pepper, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
2 T sugar
1 tsp. celery
seed
1/2 C white
wine or rice
vinegar
Serves 6-8
Dissolve the sugar and salt in the vinegar and pour over the cabbage
and peppers. Add celery seed, mix and adjust seasonings.
