Note from Cheri: Orzo is a tiny pasta that actually looks just like
rice. It makes a wonderful base for this pasta salad.
I love to take this along on summer picnics at the Hollywood
Bowl.
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain, rinse
with cool water, and set aside.
Combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, oregano, salt,
and pepper in a small bowl and whisk to combine thoroughly. Combine
the cooked pasta, dressing, and remaining ingredients in a large
bowl and toss to combine.
Serve warm, at room temperature or slightly chilled.
