Recipe for Mexican Style Rice. Tomatoes, peppers, onions, and lots of spices make this rice something special.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 cup long-grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 can (28 ounces) stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 medium sweet green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
