Recipe for Merry Cherry Punch. This non-alcoholic hot punch recipe is perfect for Christmas, New Years, and other holiday get togethers, and it's diabetic friendly.
Ingredients
- 1 can or bottle (46 ounces) cherry juice blend
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- juice and peel of 1 lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in large saucepan. Simmer over low heat 10 minutes or until hot. Remove and discard lemon peel, cloves and cinnamon stick. Carefully pour into heat-proof punch bowl or cups. Garnish with lemon slice.
