Individual Halloween Mini-Cakes

These little cakes might delightful individual desserts for any Halloween buffet table.

If you're new to cake decorating, click here first for some basic instructions.

You Will Need:
1 baked sheet cakes
your favorite frosting recipe
Halloween cookie cutter and round cutter
food coloring

Each cake serves 1

Using your favorite flavor, bake and cool 1 inch high sheet cake and release from cake pan. Place cake on waxed paper. Use second medium-sized ghost and pumpkin cookie cutters and round cutter to cut cake shapes.

Prepare your favorite frosting recipe. Thin out to pouring consistency. Place cakes on a wire rack with waxed paper beneath it and pour frosting over each individual mini cake to cover tops and sides. Use a spatula to make smoth and to make indentations in pumpkin and spider web.

For spider web, pipe a thin line in three cirlces on the cake and immediately draw icing toward edge of cake with toothpick to form web.

Let all cakes set.

Pipe lines and stem on pumpkin. Pipe black facial features on pumpkin and ghost. Attach mini candies as desired, such as a candy spider on the spider web.
