Recipe for Chili-Glazed King Crab Legs with Chinese Peas and Toasted Almonds. The flavors in this recipe will explode in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sambal (Indonesian chili paste)
  • 1/4 cup minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce (patis)
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 4 pounds king crab legs, split in half lengthwise
  • 2 cups snow peas
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion, green part only
  • 1 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Directions

  1. In a hot wok, add the chili sauce, sambal, garlic, fish sauce, and vinegar and simmer for 5 minutes over medium-low heat, until heated through and all the flavors combine. Add the crab and toss to coat completely. Increase the heat to high and cook for 4 minutes, until the crab is cooked and everything is hot. To serve, transfer the crab, vegetables, and sauce to a large platter and sprinkle the almonds over all.
