Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked, mashed butternut squash
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup sugar or 3/4 cups honey
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Combine squash and butter, mixing well.
- Add sugar, milk, salt, and spices; mix thoroughly.
- Beat eggs well and add to the mixture. Stir in vanilla.
- Pour mixture into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until set.
