Phantom Punch for Halloween

Note from Cheri:
This cool idea for Halloween punch came from our friend Jenny Wanderscheid, editor of Childfun.com, where you can visit to find crafts and activities for kids at Halloween and all year round.

In this punch, frozen "phantom" faces float in the punch bowl, daring visitors to take a drink.

1 quart orange juice
1 quart seltzer water or club soda 1/2 gallon sherbert

for the phantoms
apple pieces
raisins
tangerine slices
grape juice

Serves 8-10 Thirsty Ghosts

Freeze phantom faces, well ahead of making punch. Fill a muffun tin, 1/3 of the way with grape juice and freeze. Arrange apple pieces, raisins, and tangerine on the frozen grape juice and carefully fill another 1/3 with grape juice and freeze again. To remove "phantom faces" from the muffin tin, just run it under hot water for a second or two and they will slip right out. If you're having a big party, make lots of faces ahead of time so you can keep replenishing the punchbowl.

To make the punch, combine the liquid ingredients in a large bowl. Float these on the mixture. Complete by slicing sherbert into small squares and float on top.
