| Author Notes: | What could be easier than having breakfast cook itself while you sleep? It also stays warm so it fits everyone's schedules, regardless of when they drag themselves out of bed. |
| Ingredients: |
2 cups milk
1/4 cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon butter, divided 1/4 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 1 cup quick cooking oats 1 cup finely chopped apple 1/2 cup raisins and/or dates 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or almonds |
| Instructions: | Grease the inside of crockpot. with a small amount of butter. Put ingredients, including remaining butter, inside slow cooker and mix well. Cover and turn on low heat. Cook overnight or 8 hours on low. Stir before serving. |
