| Author Notes: | What could be easier than having breakfast cook itself while you sleep? With your slow cooker you can do just that. It also stays warm so it fits everyone's schedules, regardless of when they drag themselves out of bed. |
| Ingredients: |
1 teaspoon butter 4 cups water, room temperature 2 cup rolled oats 1 teaspoon salt |
| Instructions: | Grease inside of crock-pot up to water level with one teaspoon butter. Add remaining ingredients to the pot, cover and turn on low heat. Cook overnight or 8-9 hours on low. A few minutes before serving, add other optional ingredients like cinnamon, raisins, nuts, fruit, milk etc. Stir and serve. |
