| Author Notes: | These mushrooms, cooked in small foil packets can be made in an oven or over hot coals at a barbecue, making them a perfect side dish for camping trips. |
| Ingredients: |
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon lemon juice 6 green onions, chopped 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme 1/2 teaspoons marjoram 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper (optional for those who like a little spice) 1/4 cup melted butter salt and pepper to taste |
| Instructions: | Toss mushrooms and lemon juice in a medium bowl to coat. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Divide mixture into quarters and place each portion on a medium sheet of aluminum foil. Fold into packet. Grill over medium-hot coals for 10-12 minutes or bake in a 400°F oven for 12-15 minutes. |
