Author Notes: My Australian fried, Kylie Ardill, shared this traditional British recipe with us.

Ingredients: 1 cup leftover mashed potatoes
1 cup cooked cabbage
salt and pepper to taste
a little oil for the pan
Instructions: Combine all ingredients, and cook in hot frying pan with a little oil until well browned. Kylie likes to serve this with grilled bacon and tomatoes for a hearty breakfast.
