Author Notes: If you've ever wanted to grow fresh herbs in your garden, or if you already have a garden that produces more herbs than you know what to do with, this book is for you. Authors Haas and Beane go through the fundamentals of growing herbs, then put together a delicious collection of recipes that use the garden's bounty brilliantly.
Ingredients: 8 ounces cream cheese
4 ounces sour cream
2 tablespoons chopped thyme leaves
1 tablespoon coarsely chopped basil
1 tablespoon minced parsley
additional herbs for garnish
Instructions:

Blend all ingredients thoroughly and chill overnight. Place in serving bowl and garnish with signature basil, parsley, and thyme leaves. Serve on a tray of crackers and/or vegetable sticks. Guests will visit this appetizer "thyme and thyme again".
