Author Notes: Max in Indiana is a frequent contributor to Camper's Corner at FabulousTravel.com.  Max suggests this dish is extra special when served with a pork roast.
Ingredients: 1 can (27 ounces) sauerkraut
3/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
1 large onion, diced
1 small green pepper, diced
Instructions: Drain sauerkraut juice into sauce pan and add sugar. Bring liquid to a boil until sugar is melted. In a large bowl, combine sauerkraut, onion, and green pepper. Pour the sugar/juice over the mixture. May be served right away or refrigerated for a later time.
