Author Notes: This recipe is a creation of our friend Mary Ann Ross, one of the party divas at ThePartyWorks.com. Be sure to visit for party ideas and supplies as well as for all your cake decorating needs.

Mary Ann says her guests are always surprised when she serves this unique dessert. She likes her berries plain, but husband Earl likes to eat grilled berries on vanilla ice cream for a more decadent treat.

Ingredients: 1 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 pints strawberries
Instructions: Place strawberries on wooden skewers and run under cold water. Shake off excess water. Roll in sugar/cinnamon blend (I sprinkle on to get all strawberries covered). Grill at medium-high heat -- 90 seconds per side. All of the sugar is supposed to caramelize but often some is left on the grill -- it doesn't seem to matter, they are delicious anyway.
