Recipe for Apple Sausage Rolls. Low fat urkey sausage combines with sweet apples in this low fat, diabetic friendly recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 pound turkey sausage
- 2 cups diced apples
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, diced
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- On waxed paper, roll out sausage into a rectangle 1/2-inch thick. Combine apples, bread crumbs, and onions; spread over meat. Start from the long end and roll as for jelly roll. Place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes. Let cool slightly and cut into slices.
