Author Notes: This recipe is a spa cuisine favorite at The Oaks in Ojai and The Palms in Palm Springs/.  While it was designed to top their Spa Banana Split, but it also works well as a dip for strawberries, topping for frozen yogurt or ice cream or folded into a whipped topping and served as a mousse.
Ingredients: 2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons carob powder
2 teaspoons arrowroot
3/4 cup hot water
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:

Makes 16 Servings
15 calories per serving
3 gram carb
1 gram fat (25%)

Combine honey, arrowroot and carob powder in a small sauce pan and stir over low heat to blend. Add hot water and continue stirring until thickened. Stir peanut butter into syrup and remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and chill.
