This simple marinade for grilled salmon gives it a slightly sweet flavor that's really terrific. Don't marinate the fish too long, 30 minutes is good, but no more than an hour or you won't taste the fish.
This marinade works equally well on chicken or pork. |
| Ingredients: |
1 large salmon filet Marinade: 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup orange juice 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1/4 cup honey 1 teaspoon crushed red peppers (optional) |
| Instructions: |
Number of Servings: Depends on the size of your salmon filet For ease of marinating and grilling, we cut our salmon filet in half. Mix all marinade ingredients together. Marinate salmon for 30-60 minutes. If you are using the marinade for chicken or pork, you can leave the meat, refrigerated, in the marinade for several hours. Grill salmon over medium coals about 5 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness. I personally prefer my salmon somewhat rare. |
