Author Notes: Decorating for the home doesn't have to be time consuming, stressful or costly. Something as simple as these guest towels can really add a touch to the festivities. Some lace, ribbon and ribbon roses (pre-wash before sewing) along with fabric scraps will do the trick.
Supplies: small hand towels
scraps of lace, ribbon or other trimmings
sewing machine, needles and thread
ribbon rose (optional)
Instructions:

Along the edge of most towels is a line to go by, which makes sure everything is straight. Simply sew your lace or ribbon to that line, tucking under the ends as you sew.

A ribbon rose can set your bathroom apart from the rest -- a little touch of elegance.
