Parties for the Superbowl
or other sporting events should be casual and easy, so everyone, including the
hosts, can enjoy the event. It's a good idea to make as much of the food
in advance, so all you have to do at party time is unwrap, or heat and serve.

Sports Party Tips! The Fabulous Foodies
are a clever and resourceful bunch. Several people wrote in with these ingenious
ideas for making household appliances do double duty: - Use your
empty dishwasher or washing machine to ice down extra cans and bottles of drinks.
When the ice melts, the water just drains away.
- Freeze emtpy plastic
bottles and/or clean milk cartons in advance to make blocks of ice for keeping
coolers cold.

How
Much Brew to Buy? As a rough guideline, plan on stocking 5 six-packs for
ten people, based on a twelve-ounce serving for a typical party of beer drinkers.
