Mother's Day Breakfasts and Brunches

Mother's DayStart Mother's Day off right by surprising her with breakfast or brunch. Whether it's just the immediate household, or a large extended family, we've got lots of ideas and menus to get Mother's Day off to a great start! If you don't like a component of one of these menus, just mix and match until you find something that suits your tastes. You can also find more beakfast and brunch recipes by clicking here.
Continental Breakfast with Flair

brunch recipesGet the day off to a sweet start with our deluxe Continental Breakfast. Our Fruit and Cream Cheese Coffee Cake is always impressive. Or try one of the muffin or scone recipes instead, paired with tangy Tangerine Curd. Of course, have freshly squeezed juice and tea or coffee on hand to drink.

Mother's Day Brunch for a Crowd!

Is anything more decadent and indulgent than an extravagant brunch? This menu is a good plan when you're planning on feeding a crowd (most of it can be prepped ahead of time, leaving you carefree come party time).

Depending on the recipes you choose and the size of your crowd, you may need to double to triple them. Start out with pitchers of Bloody Marys for the adults, or our refreshing Rangpur Lime Punch or Mint Tea Punch for the kids or those who don't wish to imbibe. Our Fruit & Cream Cheese Coffee Cake can be made ahead of time and chilled until needed or bake fresh muffins or Hot Cross Buns the night before. The Breakfast Bread Pudding, courtesy of Chicago's Zinfandel Restaurant and Chef Susan Goss, is a great way to feed a crowd without having to be in the kitchen cooking. The same goes for the Baked Peaches and Sausages - make the parts ahead of time and put together when ready to serve. What could be easier?

Hearty Breakfast for the Family

mother's day recipesMake a special breakfast that the whole family can enjoy. Try starting with a pitcher of delicious, nutritious fruit smoothies, followed byan indulgent main course like Blueberry or Strawberry Stuffed French Toast with a side of Baked Peaches and Sausage. Now that's a special breakfast!

Vegetarian Brunch

We've started our Vegetarian much like the one above, with decadent drinks (Watermelon Margaritas this time) or non-alcoholic Smoothies, followed by a selection of breakfast pastries or coffee cakes. The main course, our Southwestern Frittata can't be beat!
