  • Here's another use for the plastic bags from cereal boxes. Use them for coating or breading chicken or other meats and vegetables to be fried. The bags are sturdy enough to handle the job and it's much neater than dredging.

  • If you use disposable scouring pads cut them in half first. This way you get double the amount of pads, you can throw them away after each use, no more rust and you sharpen your scissors at the same time.

  • When breading fish or meat, sprinkle the crumbs onto the paper it came in and dip into it. Then toss the paper out. No clean up. And if you're using egg, drop the egg into the plastic bag the fish/meat came in, whisk it right in the bag, then toss out. Again, no clean up.
