Napkin Folding -- Cable Pocket


This simple napkin folding technique is perfect for picnics or children's parties as it neatly keeps napkins and cutlery together. You could even use the smaller second pocket (where we've tucked a fresh mint leaf in the photo) to hold packets of salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard or other condiments.

how to fold napkins 1. Start with a large square cloth or paper napkin.

3. Fold the bottom edge of the napkin up to the top.
4. Fold all the top layers down as shown in photo to form the two pockets.

5. Turn the entire napkin over, then bring the left side into the center.

6. Bring the right side over and tuck the left side deeply into the right and press the folds flat.

7. Turn over and place cutlery, flowers or party favors in the pockets.
