Paper Crafts: Rubber Stamping Gift Wrap Paper
By Cheri Sicard

christmas crafts and recipesNew to rubber stamping? Click here for important information about tools and techniques used to make this project.

This project is so simple the kids can even do it.

Use your rubber stamping supplies to make unique gift wraps. All the wraps below started out as ordinary brown craft paper. The magic of rubber stamping quickly transformed them into fun gift wraps.

With all the rubber stamps available today, you can make an endless variety of gift wraps. Don't be afraid to mix and match colors and different stamps on the same piece to create personalized wraps for special people. You'll see how we did this in some of the examples below.

You Will Need

  • a base paper, we used brown craft paper, white butcher paper would also work well
  • rubber stamps
  • stamp pads in a variety of color

Instructions
Cut a piece of paper the approximate size you need to wrap a present. Place this on a larger piece of scrap paper. Use rubber stamps to randomly stamp designs all over the wrapping paper. In order to give your wrap a more natural look, don't be afraid to stamp off the ends and onto the scrap paper. Above are some links to wraps we made, but the possibilities are endless.
