| Author Notes: | These cookies are so easy -- you just doctor up a brownie mix. The cranberries contrast really nicely with the richness of the chocolate. They may not look like much, but they sure are tasty. |
| Ingredients: |
1 box (21.5-ounce size) fudge brownie mix 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 1/3 cup oil 1/4 cup water 2 eggs 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries 3/4 cup chopped nuts such as pecans or walnuts, optional |
| Instructions: |
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper. Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir until all dry ingredients are incorporated, but do not overmix. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between cookies as they spread a bit. Bake for about 10 minutes or until cookies are set. Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool. |
