Fans of California Pizza Kitchen restaurants will love this cookbook that makes most the restaurant's most popular dishes accessible to home cooks. The book breaks things down in easy understand ways so that anyone, regardless of culinary experience level, can get great results. The kids can even make or help with the recipes.

Of course this book has recipes for some terrific pizzas, with a name like California Pizza Kitchen that's a given. Along with three different types of dough recipes you'll get the formulas for recreating some the restaurant's favorite signature pizzas in your own kitchen included Jamican Jerk Chicken Pizza, The Greek Pizza, Vegetarian Jerk Pizza with Japanese Eggplant and Goat Cheese, and Chipotle Chicken Pizza. But the restaurant, and this book, also feature a wide variety of other delicious dishes that will appeal to families, including salads, appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts.

The kids will especially get into the CPKids Pizza Party recipes, and special holiday themed pizzas. There's also a "Create-Your_own pizza recipe that specially designed to get the whole family unleashing their creativity and coming up with their own unique styles of pizza.

This is a well produced book filled with full color photos and terrific recipes that families are sure to turn to again and again for meals that everyone loves to eat. Plus in tough economic times, the price of the book is less than the rpice of taking the family to the restaurant just once.
