Review:

We've tried every of cut meat they sell at Thousand Hills Cattle Company and loved them all. The meat has superior taste and tenderness to anything we've ever found at the local market. But more flavorful meals are just the beginning of what makes this 100% grass fed beef so special and just the beginning of why you should consider serving it in your home.

You might buy the beef because it supports humane and sustainable farming practices, or because the cattle is raised on small family farms.

But wait, there's more!

Studies show that grass fed meats have significant health benefits over their corn/grain fed counterparts. Grass fed beef hsignificant higher levels of healthy Omega-3 fatty acids and natural Vitamin E than grain fed meat.

Perhaps most importantly, especially for those trying to maintain or lose weight, grass fed beef is significantly lower in fat and calories. According to the folks at EatWild.com (a clearing house on information about pasture-based farming) a grass fed sirloin steak, for example, has about one half to one third as much fat as a similar cut from a grain fed steer!

Of course, grass fed meat is more expensive than the meat you get on sale at the supermarket, but not prohibitively so. I was actually surprised at how affordable Thousand Hills Cattle Company beef is, especially when bought in large value packs. We found the quality to be well worth the price and plan on ordering more as soon as we run out of our current supply.

Prices vary by product They do have some great value packs available. For more information or to order, click to www.thousandhillscattleco.com
