Review:

I love this book! It is undoubtedly the new "bible of baking." More than just a cookbook chock full of delicious recipes for all manner of baked goods (breads, pies, cobblers, cookies, cakes and both sweet and savory pastries), it is an incredible tutorial on everything having to do with baking.

Based on the Julia Child PBS television series of the same name, this book pulls together some of the best baking talents in the culinary world. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced chef, Baking With Julia is an invaluable reference. If you followed the lessons in its pages, you could emerge a master baker capable of turning out everything from rustic breads to delicate cookies to wedding cakes (and everything in between).

This book should be in every cook's library. You'll find yourself referring to it over and over again for years to come, when it will be passed on to your children who will do the same. A true classic.

Highly Recommended.
