| Author Notes: |
I found that I like to experiment with various toppings for scalloped potatoes. The bread crumbs one was surprisingly good one as it added a crusty layer on top. You might want to play around with your own variations. Have some fun. See my blog about cheesy scalloped potatoes. |
| Ingredients: |
5-8 medium potatoes, sliced (about 6 to 8 cups) 1/2 cup of fresh onion, chopped 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup sour cream shredded cheese or bread crumbs (optional) |
| Instructions: |
Mix salt, pepper, garlic, cream of chicken, milk, and sour cream together in a medium sized microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds. Mix again. Set aside.
