For the third edition of her popular vegetarian soup cookbook, Vegetarian cooking guru Nava Atlas has completely updated the recipes to reflect a vegan lifestyle - that's right all the recipes in the book are now all vegan. Nava's also added 20 completely new recipes to the collection - that's over 120 satisfying soups, stews, bisques and chowders. The recipes are conveniently arranged by season so you can take advantage of the best produce at the markets. I especially enjoyed the large and eclectic array of chilled summer soups, although all the seasons have terrific entries in a variety of styles, reflecting roots in many ethnic cuisines including Latin American, Asian, African, American and more. Introductory chapters get you up to speed with the basic tools, techniques and ingredients of soup making and vegan cooking. |
