I was going to begin this review by stating that's it's almost soup season again (I'm writing in late August), but with this book as your guide, it's soup season all year long). Soup lovers will find a huge variety appropriate for virtually any soup serving occasion. Recipes range from classic comfort foods to exotic taste sensations, simple and rustic to elegant and sophisticated -- and everything in between. Like of all the recipes in Robert Rose publisher's series of 300 recipe books, these are simple, straight forward and easy to prepare using wholesome real food ingredients (no cans of cream of whatever soup here).
