This hot punch recipe, perfect for Christmas, New Years and other holiday get togethers, came to us courtesy of the Cherry Marketing Institute.

Ingredients

1 can or bottle (46 ounces) cherry juice blend
2 tablespoons sugar
juice and peel of 1 lemon
1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 lemon, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in large saucepan. Simmer over low heat 10 minutes or until hot. Remove and discard lemon peel, cloves and cinnamon stick. Carefully pour into heat-proof punch bowl or cups. Garnish with lemon slice.
