Cava Fabulosa (Instead of mimosa)

Makes 6 drinks

Ingredients:

  • Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava ($12)
  • 2 cups orange juice (or mango juice)

Directions:

  1. Pour orange or mango juice in a flute and fill with Cava.

Raspberry Cava Fizz

Makes 4 drinks

Ingredients:

  • Segura Viudas Brut Rose ($10)
  • 2 cups raspberry sherbet
  • 2 ounces raspberry rum or raspberry vodka (if you have it, add both)
  • Sugar-rimmed martini glasses
  • Raspberry for garnish

Directions:

  1. In a blender, fill it halfway full of Cava.
  2. Add 2 or 3 scoops of the sherbet, and then the shots of rum/vodka.
  3. Blend covered. (You do not want the blender more than half full of Cava, or you will have a big mess!)
  4. Cover a saucer with sugar and another saucer with water.
  5. Dip the martini glass in the water to coat the rim, and then roll the rim in the sugar to sugarcoat the glass.
  6. Garnish with a plain or sugared raspberry.

Strawberry-lini

Makes 4 drinks

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 bottle Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava ($12)

Directions:

  1. In your blender, puree strawberries with just a splash of water (in order to blend/puree).
  2. Add strawberry mixture to bottom of Champagne flutes, and then top with Cava.
